Microsofte의 World Wide Telecope는 구글의 구글 earth의 cosmos 부분에 대항해 만든 소프트웨어라고 한다. 잘 보니.. 지구도 보인다... (로딩이 느리긴 한데..^^)

그 외에 파노라마 보기 기능도 있다.

웹은 그렇게 느리게 만들었는지... 아직 처음이니까, 그 부분에 대해서는 아직 준비중인거 같다.

WWT는 망원경을 보는 것처럼 소프트웨어를 가지고 하늘과 땅을 쉽게 볼 수 있게 만든 것이라고 나와 있다.

개인적으로 볼 때, 아직까지는 크게 구글 어쓰보다 많은 유저층을 가지기엔 어려운 것으로 보인다. 쓰기편한 UI가 보이긴 하나, 느린 렌더링 속도와 적은 컨텐츠는 아직 구글 어쓰를 따라가기는 어려울 것으로 보인다.

다만, 구글 어쓰와 함께 쓰일 수 있는 교육 소프트웨어라는 점에서는 높이 사고 싶다.

In the Old Testament, God’s commands were written on stone tablets and kept in the tabernacle. Now, we are living according to the New Testament, and when we accept Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior, we become His temple. He lives in us, and He engraves His promises and commands in our hearts. How can you be sure of this? This verse goes on to say that your conscience, or inner man, has a stronger knowledge of what is right and what is wrong; what you should and shouldn’t do. You are drawn to follow the Word of God. That’s the Spirit of God on the inside of you, guiding and directing you. As you follow His leading, your ability to hear and know Him is strengthened. But if you choose to bypass that prompting on the inside, your heart can become hard which will affect your ability to hear Him in the future. Make the decision today to demonstrate that God’s law is written on your heart by quickly obeying His leading. As you do, He’ll guide you down the path of blessing, and you’ll experience the abundant life He has in store for you!

Every time you choose to obey the Word of God, you are choosing blessing. When you put God first in your life; when you walk in love towards others even when it’s difficult, you are choosing blessing. When you turn away from ungodly influences and when you give to others, God will pour out His blessing on you in return. Start today and do what you know to do. Obey His word and His blessing will overtake you! You’ll rise higher and higher and live the abundant life He has for you.

God’s system works on the principle of sowing and reaping. What you pour out will come back to you in increased measure. When you give generously, a generous harvest will return to you. There are people in your life who hold the keys for you to reach your full potential. These are people that God has placed in your life for you to help along. The higher they rise up, the higher you will rise up. When you give generously of your time, talent, and resources, you are setting yourself up for greater success. People will come across your path that will help you grow and reach your full potential. But you have to do your part to step out and sow the seed. Be on the lookout for ways you can help others. God loves you so much, and He wants you to live in abundance in every area of your life. In the book of Genesis, in the very beginning, He established a system for increase. Everything in life operates off of seedtime and harvest. As long as you have seed, you have increase in your hand. But a seed will lay dormant until it is placed in the right conditions. You have to plant that seed and water it in order for it to grow. What are the seeds you have in your hand? It can be as simple as the seed of a smile that will produce happiness in your life. It can be a financial seed that will produce provision in your life. Give and it shall be given back to you in greater measure. The Bible says that God’s Word is water and when you speak the Word, you are watering your seeds. Ask the Lord today to show you what seeds you have in your hand. He’ll show you where to plant them, and He’ll watch over those seeds to produce an abundant harvest in every area of your life!

Everyone goes through seasons of difficulty and challenge in life. One of the enemy’s traps is to isolate you and convince you that you won’t make it. But God promises that He will deliver the righteous out of all of their afflictions. You are righteous because of your relationship with God through Christ Jesus. You are righteous simply by having faith in Him, His goodness, and the promises in His Word. If you’re going through a tough time today, keep an attitude of faith and expectancy. Declare His promises over your life. You are more than a conqueror through Him! The joy of the Lord is your strength! As you continue to stand, even during the difficult times, you can be assured that victory is on the way. It might be today…it might be next week…next month, or next year, but God is faithful! Through faith and patience, you will inherit the promise. You will get beyond your difficulty, and you’ll increase in wisdom and strength and live the abundant life He has for you!

Safety in Numbers

Today's Word from Joel and Victoria

Are you facing an important decision today? God wants to give you the answer. He wants to direct your steps. Many times, He will speak to us through the people He has placed in our lives. The Bible says that safety is found in a multitude of advisors. God designed us to live in families, communities, and congregations. We need to be open to receiving input from the people who are close to us. That doesn’t mean you have to follow everything everyone tells you, but if you’re in a particular situation or relationship, and all the people around you are giving you the same word of caution, it might be God trying to get a message to you. Take that advice and bring it before the Lord in prayer. Ask Him to confirm His perfect plan to your heart. Remember, wisdom comes from God, and wise counsel will always be in agreement with God’s Word. He will always confirm the answer when you ask Him. What ever you are facing today, be open to receiving wise counsel. As you do, you will be blessed and protected and walk in confidence down the path the Lord has prepared for you!

구글의 검색 엔진의 기본 핵심이다.

functional langaue인 lisp에 영향을 받은것으로 보이며, 간단 명료하게 병렬 배취기능형태로 제공된 것으로 보인다.

이런식으로 구글 소스 트리에 사용되는데. 계속 사용되고 있다..

실행에 대한 개념이다.  중간값이 만들어지고, 그룹된 Key에 의해서 그룹되어서 결과를 나오게 한다.

이를 이용해서 병렬처리는 다음과 하게 되어 있다.

또한 재실행하는 문제에 대한 문제까지도 고려하고 있다.

기본 데이터가 없어서 성능쪽은 비교대상이 없기 때문에 쉽게 말하기는 어려운 것 같다.

결론은 다음과 같이 내었는데..

추상적인 모델로서 증명되었고, 구글에서 큰 스케일의 계산을 심플화했고, 문제에 포커스를 가지도록 하고, 복잡한 것은 그냥 라이브러리에서 실행할 수 있도록 하였습니다.

개인적으로 병렬처리를 하는 백엔드 worker, batch 작업에 써먹을 수 있는 형태로 보인다. 간략함으로서 사용자에게 편의를 제공하는 것으로 보인다.

Hadoop 은 바로 이 MapReduce를 구현하였다. http://hadoop.apache.org/core/

분산 파일 시스템 Hadoop가 MapReduce 를 구현했다고 보니. 많이 놀랬다.

SK텔레콤(www.sktelecom.com)이 뒤늦게 리눅스 기반 모바일 플랫폼을 개발하는 세계적인 기구인 리모(LiMo Foundation)에 가입한다고 한다.

리모 (http://www.limofoundation.org/)는 모바일 기계에 리눅스 베이스 운영체제를 탑재하고 하드웨어 디펜던트하고 오픈할 수 있는 플랫폼 콘서시엄이라고 알려져 있다

설명이 잘되어 있어서 모바일쪽으로 근무하는 사람이라면 이해할 듯 싶다.

아마도 SK텔레콤도 세계적인 흐름에 참여할 수 밖에 없는 트렌드를 쫓아가는 것으로 보인다. 기존에 wipi기반의 단말업체의 한계, 즉 한국에서만의 표준을 고수하다 보니 세계 시장의 흐름에 깊숙이 들어가서 시장성을 가지고 접근자체가 어려운 것으로 판단된다.

같이 일해본 경험으로 보아... 발부터 담가보고, 정보를 얻은다음, 세계 시장으로 나갈지 안나갈지를 고민할 것으로 보인다. LG, KTF는 이미 들어가 있었다..

홈피에 있는 정보를 보고 간단하게 정리하면 다음과 같다.

리눅스 커널을 기반으로 한채, 미들웨어를 설계하도록 되어 있다.

미들웨어는 통신쪽의 wipi의 HAL이나 방송쪽의 포팅 레이어를 기반으로 하드웨어 디펜던트를 추가할 것이고, 그 위에 독립적인 플랫폼(서비스 지원)을 올릴 것으로 보이는 다른 쪽과 달리 미들웨어 -OS를 하나로 합치는 스탈을  추구하는 느낌을 받았다.

R1은 이미 출시되었고, 이미 삼성, LG에서 폰이 나왔다.

핸드폰셋의 기본적인 기능 + java vm 정도로 보여지고 있다.

새롭게 추가될 R2 버젼은 다음과 같다.

R2는 조금더 Advandced한 것이 들어가는데, 툴 킷, 프레임웍들이 들어가 있는 것이 보인다. Logging, GPS, Device Management, SIM, Internet, Video Telephony 프레임웍이 추가되는 것으로 보아서, 미들웨어 레이어와 Application Engine Layer가 많이 추가된 것으로 보인다.

R1 설계에 대해서 이미 상품화가 진행된 것으로 보아 앞으로 R2도 설계되어 곧 핸드폰에 탑재될 것으로 보인다. IPR쪽으로 어떻게 진행되는지 모르긴 하나, 특허쪽도 진행하는 것 같다.

개인적으로 이런 미들웨어-OS의 이기종간의 통합 시스템은 점차 하드웨어 디펜던트한 부분에 대한 강화로 인식되고, 선호할 것으로 보인다.

뛰어난 성능만큼 하지만, 포팅 레이어에 대한 다양한 구현을 어떻게 해결하느냐가 큰 관건으로 보인다..
